Nothing terribly exciting today, just a belated addition! Roxane was featured in the December 2010 issue of Rolling Stone Italia. The shoot is stunning, but sadly we don’t have any images of accompanying article that came with it. If someone has scans of the complete feature they can donate, it’d be appreciated!

I’ve finally added photos from an event I missed back in February, the Film Independent 2011 Directors Close Up. Roxane attended with “Kaboom” director Gregg Araki as well as co-stars Thomas Dekker and James Duval. Enjoy!

Hi, everyone. Apologies for people who wondered where the site were this past week or so — due to some personal issues, I needed to take a short hiatus. However, any hiatuses in the future will most likely be “open” (i.e. website content still accessible) and I do have a friend who has volunteered to update in my stead in that case. Also, I do have an update for today! Roxane attended the premiere for the final season of HBO television show “Entourage” in New York last week. There were only a few snaps of her taken on the red carpet, but she looks great.

A couple other final notes: the gallery has a new lovely new design, and Roxane herself has a Twitter account: @roxane_mesquida. Only 38 followers so far — get following! We still have our own Twitter account that you can follow for site updates at @parfaites, though depending on just how much new traffic we get when “Gossip Girl” airs, I may start a separate one.

Roxane had a busy day yesterday, also attending the Cinema Society screening of film “Snow Flower and the Secret Fan”, looking fantastic in a bold green dress. Enjoy the photos!

As an aside, we’ve now well surpassed the 150,000 hits mark! I remember when I first started this page how big of a number 1,000 felt. Thank you to new and returning visitors alike for helping to make this a success!

Roxane was spotted on the Gossip Girl set again yesterday, July 13th, this time apparently shooting a scene with her on-screen brother Prince Louis (Hugo Becker.) There are a few snaps of her in what looks like her own street style, and I have to say I actually like that outfit better! Big thank you again to the great Gossip Girl site YouKnowYouLoveMe.org.

Thanks to my good friend Ivonne for donating this beautiful shoot of Roxane at Cannes last year! There are only two photos but they’re lovely.

Since we’ve already started getting more traffic thanks to Roxane’s exposure in “Gossip Girl”, I want to make sure the site is as complete as possible! For today I’ve added some “vintage” Roxane odds and ends: stills from her 2005 telefilm “Les Vagues” and some more photos from the 2001 Berlin Film Festival, where she was promoting “À ma soeur!”. It’s crazy to think that movie is 10 years old this year!

Thanks to Marine I also have some new magazine scans for the gallery! She’s sent Roxane’s page in Be (see last post) as well as a feature from Paris Match from 2009. Enjoy!

Roxane is in the latest issue of BE magazine, where she talks about Gossip Girl, her character (“very mean”), the show, her admiration for Leighton, and how she had some input into what her character will wear. As a Blair girl myself, I’m glad she is too! If anyone has scans of the magazine itself, it’d be great if you could donate.

“Mon personnage préféré, c’est Blair. En outre, je trouve Leighton Meester incroyable”, confie Roxane dans les pages du magazine Be, en kiosques, où elle livre ses impressions sur cette nouvelle aventure. Et de continuer : “Je n’ai pas passé d’essais. Ils connaissent mon travail, ils m’avaient vue dans Kaboom. J’étais très heureuse quand ils m’ont recontactée, deux semaines plus tard, pour me dire que j’avais le rôle.”

Roxane Mesquida joue le rôle de la princesse de Monaco, soeur de Louis, le beau prince fiancé à la redoutable Blair, et selon ses dires, le “personnage est très méchant”.
